STUDENT
RESIDENCY
Residency with Open Bible College is specifically for those who are actively on staff at their local church and feel called to start preparing for the ministry. Programs are designed to help emerging church leaders understand and develop the calling God has put on their life. A partnership between the resident, local church, regional offices, and OBC allow for a multi-tiered theological and practical ministry preparation journey.
FLEXIBLE.
OBC offers 24-to-36-month program choices. Our program is designed to be family-friendly even for residents with small kids at home or working.
AFFORDABLE.
Solid theological instruction through OBC (tuition is split between the resident, the local church, and the home region)
TRAINING.
Students will actively train and serve on staff at their local church for a minimum of 50 hours each semester.
EDUCATION.
The course will work with your local pastor to develop specific ministry opportunities that will prepare you for your eventual ministry role.
CREDENTIALS.
Upon completion of OBC’s program, residents can become licensed with Open Bible.
