Open Bible College was founded in 2017 and is a private, non-profit institution. OBC is a ministry of Open Bible Central which is affiliated with Open Bible Churches.

Open Bible College is a non-accredited 2-year school of ministry. It is possible credits earned at OBC may not transfer to other accredited schools.

Open Bible College has established a credit transfer agreement with Oak Hills Christian College in Bemidji, Minnesota. Oak Hills is fully accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (www.abhe.org). 100% of the credits earned at OBC will transfer towards a degree at Oak Hills. Open Bible College has been granted official certification by the Open Bible Churches. School of Ministry certification means Open Bible Churches has placed its seal of approval on the school as providing acceptable biblical education and ministerial training that fulfills the education requirements for an Open Bible ministerial credential.
